A game that has a teamwork aspect is Letters from Whitechapel which is about Jack the Ripper. One player plays Jack who moves secretly through London and commits murders while the other players are investigators who team up to catch Jack.
The story of the Slender Man reminds me of another figure I’ve read about called the Grinning Man.
